Nancy: I've Decided On PINK!

If you remember, I posted about wanting an ombre but wasn't sure what color I wanted. Well, I have decided on pink! And to save some money, I will be doing it myself. I got it from Sally Beauty. It's called Party time pink! It is semi-permanent so if you want temporary hair color, this isn't for you. Wait and see! I will be posting up pictures soon ;p Whoo hooo!!

Jeanett: TOMS.

So, Toms have been getting pretty famous. Scratch that. Very famous. At first I didn't know why, I mean, yeah it's cute but that was it. But I purchased my first pair yesterday and now I know why. Not only are they adorable, they are also comfortable to wear. It's also a casual pair of shoes so you can wear it out anywhere at anytime. They can even be a substitute for flats, sometimes. They also come out with different colors & designs. I had a difficult time choosing but I finalized my decision by picking the plain red pair. I mean, the glitter & sequined ones are cute but then they are somewhat too fancy for just a walk at park. I picked the color red because I like the color and my sisters already have black & blue. I don't want the same colors as them, lol. And personally, I think red matches almost any color and gives a pop of color. I also went through so much trouble to get these ! First we went to Zumies but they didn't carry the half sizes so we headed off to Journeys, they didn't carry it. Finally, we went to Nordstrom and I purchased these TOMS for $43. A fair price, don't you agree ? They also give you a free Toms bag & sticker, lol. I'm glad I bought Toms because they're becoming my favorite pair of shoes !

Shia: Something Blue

Colors are a big trend this season, it's all about the brights, the neon and the pastels! I been wanting a blue bag for this season since it's one of the colors that I don't have yet. I finally found it at Target for $12.99! This blue is very pretty, it's a matte blue that is bright and also dark at the same time, there seem to be hints of purple mix in. I love the zippers on this bag, it's spacious enough to carry change and cards. The inside is very spacious as well which I really needed since I tend to carry a lot of stuff. It also have compartments to put in cards and another pocket for cash. I've been carrying this bag ever since I found it and been receiving a lot of compliments on it!

Nancy: New Purse!

This purse is soooo cute! I saw it in Forever 21 and wanted it immediately! I really wanted this purse because I wanted a purse that wasn't too big or too small. It was the perfect size. The chains on the straps was a plus :p I got it for 20 bucks at Forever 21. So totally worth it! :D

The inside color of the purse is magenta. It has two pockets where you can put your phone in or other stuff you have. And of course a zipper with a XXI sign ;p

I also really like the cute lock in the front of the purse which is shape like a heart and adds a nice touch to the purse.

Nancy: Maybelline Eyeshadow

Shia: Orly French Tips Nail Polish

I figured it's been awhile since I last got French tips, and decided to go the cheaper route in order to get them. These are the product I used to achieve the look.
This is my first time using Orly, I heard plenty of good things about it but it's never been an interest of mine. These were my sister, she bought them awhile ago but never used it so I decided to use it. I like how thick the consistency was so that made it easy to apply on. And it dried pretty quickly, I was impressed, it took less than 3 minutes I believe. In order to achieve the tips, I just used strips of tapes to get a clean even line. The outcome was a bit messy because I was too impatient to wait for the nails to fully dry before ripping off the tapes so it wasn't picture worthy. Overall, I would use Orly again.

Shia: Physician's Formula 3-1 Concealer

When it comes to the one product that I can't live without, it is concealer hands down! I need as much concealer as I can to hide these dark circles of mine, and trust me, no amount of sleep can get rid of them. It's a gene thing, anyways, I am always on the look out to try new concealers that would work for me. I have tried all kind so far and I found that yellow tone corrects dark circles. Physician Formula specializes in this yellow tone. I really see a difference when I put the yellow tone on first, my skin has yellow undertones so this works the best for me unlike regular concealer. So far I'm loving it, it's a bit pricey for drugstore but it's definitely worth it if you feel like investing in a good concealer that will actually do the trick. $12.99 at Target.

Nancy: Dura Lash

I'm all about the lashes! These lashes are for when you don't want to go all out with the full lashes. Don't let the little lashes fool you, it is pretty hard to put on. I can just quickly add the lashes to the edge of my eye when I don't want the full lashes :)

Shia: Neutrogena Picks

After a long day of working and sweating, my skin needs some cleansing. I decided to get a new cleanser because my Olay one wasn't working for me anymore. I was browsing through the selections at Target the other day and I figured I'll go back to Neutrogena. They have never failed me and I have always alternated between Olay and Neutrogena anyways. What caught my attention about this cleanser is that it's anti-wrinkle as well as anti-blemish. I have both of those, well not so much the wrinkles yet but I'm getting there! It's never too early to start preventing. I also pick up an eye cream, I see that I have more wrinkles around my eyes due to laugh lines and also because I used concealer everyday so stretching out the skin under my eyes was a big problem. I have been using both products every day and night in order to see any improvements. So far I have noticed my skin being a bit smoother and firmer. Both products was purchased at Target for $7.99-$14.00.

Nancy: Outfit of the Day

What a nice sunny day for a nice sunny outfit! I have on a gray shirt and red/orange shorts with my light brown belt. Since I'm all about the wedges this summer, I have on a tan Merona wedge from Target for 30 bucks! Since it's been hot lately, I just tie my hair up and put on a headband to add a girly touch to the outfit :)

Jeanett: Be Enchanted !

I realized it was time to get a scent. One of my own. So I headed to Bath & Body Works because, as you all know, they have great smells over there. I was searching, trying to find the perfect one. I came across the typical, usual kinds like Sweet Pea & Cherry Blossom. But I didn't want one so popular. I wanted a unique smell. Then I found it. The One. It's called Be Enchanted. It has a floral/fruity scent. It kind of reminds me of...me ! Lol, so I decided to get the 3 for $10. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Now I have the lotion, body spray, & shower gel. I accomplished my mission of finding my own scent ! (;

Shia: Mac Haul

The story behind this purchase is a boring one, I was browsing through the latest Vogue issue and on the pages where brand names would advertise their products, Mac had theirs. On one of their advertisement was a model wearing this bright baby pink lipstick and she made it look so pretty that I had to go out and buy it!!!
The name of this lipstick is called "Saint Germain" it is such a pretty baby pink color, but while I was trying it on at the store, it was a bit too light for my liking, making my skin a darker color than it really is so I asked the lady helping me if there was a lip gloss that I can put over it.
This lip gloss is also a very pretty light pink color called "Infinitely Likable" I think it's more nude than pink but when put over the lipstick it definitely toned down the pink which I really liked. This is supposedly to be a long lasting lip gloss and I do feel that it's a bit too sticky and thick for my usual liking but I did find it to be long lasting, although the color will fade so re-applying throughout the wear will work best.
Here are the swatches I did, the left color is the lipstick and the right is the lip gloss. The lipstick itself is $14.50 and the lip gloss is $19.50.

Nancy: Flower Pearl Bracelets

This flower bracelet caught my eyes because it was beautiful! The flowers made the bracelet look like a corsage. And the pearls made the bracelet even more beautiful. I got it from forever 21 for $7.33. I love that it comes separately so you don't always have to wear it together. You can wear one or two or all of it :)

Shia: Bow Earrings!

Since I still have a Forever 21 gift card from my last return, I decided to use it for these adorable earrings. I love anything that is girly and dainty. These bow earrings are the perfect size for my ears and it's so adorable! There are tiny pearls adorned on the bow creating this classic chic look. I usually wear one pair of earrings on a daily basis, but once in a while when I find a cute piece like these, I wear it almost every day if I don't forget. Forever 21 are known for their affordable prices, so I only paid $3.80 for these pair.

Shia: New Shoes!!!

I went a little shopping crazy this week, I was just browsing at Ross the other day and I saw these adorable Steve Madden pumps sitting on the shelf waiting for me! I instantly grab it and brought it home with me. The best thing about shopping at discount stores is that you find great stuff that are good quality and in style for an affordable price. A pair of Steve Madden at their own store would be about $100 and up. I love deals and these were a real steal, I paid only $21.99! Nude and blush colors go with anything and the height of the heel isn't too high either, making it super comfortable and easy to walk in. Love love it!

Nancy: Outfit of the Day

The outfit I wore for my sister's high school graduation. I wore a floral dress with a belt. I had my studded denim on top of my dress. And I finally got to wear my wedge! :)

Nancy: Spring/Summer Outfit 2

What I like about Spring/summer is that you can show off your clothes without layering sweaters and jackets over it. In the photo, I am wearing a simple black tank and a floral skirt. The floral skirt makes the outfit pop especially in the spring/summer. And of course, a pair of suede open toe heels can finish the look. Who's ready for summer to come?! :)

Nancy: Combats Boots Are Meant For Keeping

Who has combat boots?? I do! I have a pair of combat boots that I love so dearly. It is worn and torn but I just don't want to throw it away because I love it that much. I recently bought another pair to replace it and I love it! I like combat boots because it's good to wear on all seasons. Yes, you can wear it in the summer too! What kind of shoes do you love so much that you don't want to throw away?
My old combats. It looks new in the picture but it really isn't.

My new combats. They're lower than my old one and is veryyyy comfortable :p

Nancy: Pink or Blonde Ombre?

I am torn between pink and blonde for my ombre hair color. Lately, I've been wanting to get an ombre for my hair. It's going to be summer soon, so I been wanting a lighter color for my hair to match the season. My hair is still short but an ombre for short hair are still nice. I just don't know which color I should choose. I've been leaning towards the pink a little. But I still don't know. When it comes to hair, I'm always having this debatable feeling. Can anyone help voice their opinion?

Nancy: Red lips

Lately I've been into red lipstick. I've never been a fan of red lipsticks but lately I find the red lipstick to be quite attractive. I realize how sexy it makes you look. I really like red lipstick now because you can have natural eyes and still have your face pop with just the red lipstick. What color lipstick are you into these days?

Shia: Outfit of the Day: Floral Romper

One thing I love about spring and summer is being able to wear rompers!!! Rompers was very popular last summer and I think it's going to be a big hit yet again this summer! They are the most comfortable pieces to wear after dresses, they are one piece so you have your whole outfit already! I bought this orange floral romper last summer from Forever 21 for only $17 and I wore it on hot days because the material flows and is so silky so it feels great on. This romper is also great for this spring and summer too because of the bright orange color, orange and tangerine colors are in trend this season and today I figured it was time to bring it back out to shine. I paired it with a light washed denim button down and my AE sandals which I haul on here before. Today was a great day in the hot weather, can't wait for more days like this!
Here is a close up view to the floral pattern, there are some dark colors in there too so it can work well for night time as well :)

Shia: Sally Hansen Insta Dri Nail Polish!

I've been pretty obsessed with trying to find the perfect Tiffany blue nail polish recently and no matter how hard I look and compared all the blue nail polish I couldn't find the "perfect" color but I found one that is similar enough. It's still a pretty color, I love this color, the name of the color is called "Blue Away" and it's just a cool light blue that will be perfect for wearing during spring and summer. I love Sally Hansen nail products, this is my latest addition to my nail polish collections and I've been wearing it as much as I can. What I also love about this nail polish is the huge brush size, it's a big enough to swipe on once and it'll cover the whole nail. My only complaint is that the consistency is pretty runny so must be careful when applied on or the product will get all over the place! I got it at a very affordable price from Target for only $4.

Shia: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer

One of my beauty must have is concealer, I cannot live without concealer, it's great for covering up my dark circles and small blemishes. I've tried many drugstore concealers before and I have to say this is my favorite drugstore concealer at the moment. It is the brand Maybelline New York, their newest Instant Age Rewind product comes in a liquid concealer and foundation. I chose the concealer obviously, this concealer definitely makes my under eyes skin smoother and more firmer, and it does hides my dark circles well. I have a yellow tone to my skin so I like that it neutralizes my dark circles. Can be found at any drugstore like Walmart and Target. I got mine at Target for around $7.

Nancy: 7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty Tag

There is a tag that has been going around on YouTube but I don't make videos sooooo.... I will be blogging about my 7 deadly sins of beauty products.

1) Greed- Which beauty product is your most inexpensive and expensive?

My most inexpensive product would probably be my elf products. The prices for elf products ranges from $1-$6. The top picture is my elf complete coverage concealer. It costs me $3 and it has the color for every shade of color for your face. The second product in the picture is also a concealer/highlighter. It costs me $1. The third and fourth item in the picture are mascaras and costs me $1 each. The next one is my green shimmer eyeliner pencil. I love this eyeliner so much you can tell by the short length of my pencil. It also has a sharpener as the eyeliner's cap. It goes great on the eyes and it also helps your eyes pop. I got it for $1. The last two on the bottom are my elf's blush which costs me $3 and my elf's cream eyeliner which I talked about earlier in an earlier post. Elf's products are probably the most inexpensive for very good quality cosmetics. I recommend everyone go make purchases on elf! :) It is my go to make up shop now.

My most expensive products are probably around the $12 to $15 range. From left to right, my missha bb cream costs me $12. The shade I got was a little light on me so I rarely uses it. The next two are two- faced cosmetics that costs me $9. The two-faced primer and the two-faced mascara. The next one is the telescopic explosion make-up that costs me $8. I love this mascara! And the last one in the picture is the Garnier skin renewal anti- puff roller which costs me $9. Since I have bags and puffy eyes in the morning I uses it to make my eyes more less puffy :p Other than those, these are my most expensive products.

2) Wrath- What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with?

The love/hate relationship product would be my foundation. I love my foundation because it would make my face look flawless but at the same time, it would make my face feel soooo heavy. I would feel like I had layers and layers of make-up on my skin.

3) Gluttony- What are your most delicious beauty products?

My most delicious beauty product would probably be my perfume. I don't have an exact beauty product that smells delicious but my perfume makes me smell really good! It has a fruity smell and it just smell so delicious! :D

4) Sloth- What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

The beauty product that I usually neglect is my eye primer. Although I looooove putting on eyeshadow, I just keep forgetting to put the primer on first. I'd always complain that my eyeshadow didn't last long and that it always disappears when the day isn't even over yet. But for some reason I just don't remember to put it on. So now, I have to remember to put it on :p

5) Pride- What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

The beauty product that gives me self confidence is my make me pink lipstick. Since my lips are kind of big, and it stands out the most, I like to give my lips a little color. If I have lipstick on I'm good to go! Lipstick can make your face pop with out any need of eyeliner or eyeshadow. It just gives me that boost when I go out. If I don't have eyeliner or eyeshadow on, a little color on the lips is a must!

6) Lust- What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Of course, every women likes a guy who has a nice face as well as their overall appearance and personality. I like a guy who is handsome. I tend to look at their clothes because I like guys who can rock in a simple white tee and jeans. I like guys who are clean cut and has good manners. Someone who can make me laugh and can make me feel comfortable when I'm around them. I like someone who is not always tense and someone who likes to have fun.

7) Envy- What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I would like to receive products for the face. I don't have a lot of pimples around my cheeks but my forehead is a must. I tend to break out a lot on my forehead and it doesn't look good. I want a whole set of facial products. I want a flawless face. :)
