Nancy: CHRISTMAS GIFTS!

HELLO ALL! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I can't believe it is finally here again! And another year coming to an end!  I just wanted to update you all on the gifts I received this year from my family!
This is a blouse I received from my brother and sister in law. It is a cute blouse from Forever 21 and is $19.80. It gives off a preppy yet feminine look. It is really cute and I can't wait to rock it!
This next one is Sonia Kashuk brushes from my older sister Shia. I've been wanting to buy a set of brushes but haven't had the time so I was quite happy when I received this from her. Love it and can't wait to use it!
I'm not really a big fan of Old Navy but nothing can go wrong with a sweater. I received this gift from my older sister Sia. It is warm and great for layering because it is thin. Can't wait to wear it out and start layering!
I received this gift card from my oldest sister Mo. Nothing can ever go wrong with a gift card! Especially for one of my favorite stores too!
Lastly, I got this studded motorcycle jacket from my younger sister Jiong who happens to be my Secret Santa. I've been searching and searching for a new perfect leather jacket. And I am happy with joy when I received this gift! Can't wait to wear it out!!

I hope you all enjoy your CHRISTMAS and have a wonderful time with the ones you loved and cherish!!

Nancy: Outfit of the Day!

Everyone! I'm back with a new post! I haven't been doing many OOTD lately even though I really want to! It is probably because I just don't have the time lately. I've gotten a full time job and its been taking a lot of my time so I haven't been up to anything lately besides work. With that being said, I want to be able to at least blog once a week or even more. I hope all our readers continue to love and support our blog! Sooo, for this post I have an outfit of the day. I went out shopping for some last minute gifts and boy was it a cold and horrible day. There was nonstop rain and craziness because it is almost Christmas! NEVER DO LAST MINUTE SHOPPING EVER AGAIN! But besides that, I have on a pink studded collar shirt under a black sweater. I have a leather jacket over it. I have on grey skinny jeans with black leather boots on. I have my hair in a pony tail because my hair don't do so well with the rain. And lastly, I gab my pink Steve Madden purse and I'm out the door! By the way, I have been wanting and wanting to blog about my Steve Madden purse when I first bought it but I haven't had the chance :( Hopefully I can update more soon! Hopefully tomorrow when I update you guys on my CHRISTMAS gifts :D ANDDD Enjoy your CHRISTMAS EVE!

Also, I wanna talk briefly about my studded collar top. The collar trend has been crazy in 2012. It was a trend that just sky rocketed throughout the year and will probably continue (hopefully). I just wanted to share one of my favorite studded top. It gives out a feminine and edgy punk look at the same time. One of my many favorites this month :p

It is created like that. It's cute and I love it I got it on ebay for $1.52. Ever since I got it, I haven't been able to take it off! :D

Shia: Halloween Costumes-DIY

Hello! I know Halloween is now over but I wanted to do this post anyways to give some of you tips/inspirations for your costume next year! I decided this year that I wasn't going to spend a lot of $$$ for a one time wear costume so I figure to save I will put together my own costume and be a little creative. I have two costumes, for the weekend before Halloween I went to a ball and dressed up as Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's, her character was Holly Golightly, a outgoing and classy girl who was afraid of commitments. She always have on a tiara and pearls and a little black dress, so to recreate her look I found a black dress from Ross for only $8, order a mini tiara from ebay for $2, and bought a pearl necklace from Forever 21 for another $8, gloves and shoes were already in my closet so I didn't have to look far for them. For the hair, Holly always had a french twist updo and pixie bangs. I had longer bangs but I just curl it with a straightener and put my hair up in a bun. For the make up, she really have a natural look going on, the emphasis is on the eyes, lots of lashes and nice defined eyebrows. Oh and I couldn't forget the infamous cigarette holder that she always had with her too, I bought mines from amazon for only $2. So for the entire outfit it cost me about $20-25, and guess what I can wear them all again even after Halloween, just not together of course.

For the second costume I put together quickly on the actual Halloween night I dressed up as a Geisha, a Japanese beauty. To recreate this look I found a Kimono like shirt from H&M long ago for $10, tied it  around the waist to create the Kimono effect and wore leggings under. I painted my face with white powder, drew in my eyebrows darker and longer and create small lips with red liner and lipstick. I gather all my hair up into another bun, added flowers from dollar tree and tada! Geisha for the night. Oh and the fan was also purchase on ebay for $1, all for only $10-15! I love being creative and saving money at the same time, it's fun, I got to take a lot of pictures for memories and be someone else for the night. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I can't wait for next year, I already have a costume in mind and it can be found in my closet as well! Hope you all had a fun, creative Halloween!
Be creative! I have my Asian genes to thank in order to really look the Geisha part.

Nancy: The Original Mane n Tail Hair Shampoo/Conditioner!

They're back! The one and only Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner. I've tried this brand before and it did not lie. It really does make your hair feel healthier and more manageable. And when your hair is more healthier and manageable it makes your hair grow faster! It really does help a lot. Give it a try and it might make or break your hair but you never know unless you try! It doesn't cost a lot either. The 12 fl. oz bottle costs $4 and the bigger bottle costs $5. You can find it anywhere that sells shampoos/conditioners. A+ for healthy and manageable hair :)

Nancy: Candy Apple Lip Butter!

One lipstick I've been been really into lately is the candy apple lip butter. I'm not usually into red lipstick but this lipstick has a sheer redness to it which is what I really like. It's is not matte red or glossy red. It is the perfect red for me. What lipsticks are you rocking with?

Nancy: Leather skirt and Navy colored shorts

WHOOPEEDOO!
My first item is a navy colored shorts. I got it for $15. It is soo adorable! I've always wanted shorts that looks like this. It is high waist-ed and will look great with anything. It is good for any seasons as well. I will be rocking this shorts with tights this Fall :D
I especially LOVE the buttons on this short. I've always wanted shorts like this and I'm so glad that I was finally able to get my hands on this one ;p
I soo adore this faux leather skirt! I got it for $14 and once again it matches anything and any seasons. The leather skirt is definitely trending this season. I will be rocking this skirt this season whoop whoop! :)Who else is with me ? ;P

Shia: CoverGirl BB cream Review!

Hello! Hello! Back with a new post! CoverGirl BB cream/sunscreen/tinted moisturizer is my new favorite. The drugstore make up companies all came out with their own version of BB cream and I found this one to be better than all the others. This one gives me light coverage with SPF 15, the smell is tolerable, it's a sunscreen/moisturizer but it doesn't give me that greasy, oily look and feel that sunscreen usually have. It definitely makes my skin feel soft and smooth, making it easy to apply my make-up. I have combination skin but it gets more dry during the cold season so this might not work for everyone. This was more affordable than the other ones like Garnier and Loreal which ranges from $10-$12, I got this at my local Target for only $6. Therefore, it's affordable and works well. Have a nice day all!

A little goes a long way!

Applied alone without any added makeup!

With a full face of make up! And instagram! ;)

Nancy: Pumpkin Nails!

October is here! And to celebrate that I decided to show some spirit by painting my nails as pumpkins! Since I'm not much of an artistic person I had my sister Jeanett help with my pumpkin faces :p
These are the color I used. I used a orange/coral color as the pumpkin head because the orange nail polish I had was too sheer so it wasn't good :/ I used the green as the stem of the pumpkin head. I used the black polish thin line to draw the face and I finished it off with a top coat! What are nail art are you guys doing for Halloween? :)

Nancy: L'OREAL new true match super blendable make-up and Revlon photoready concealer stick.

So I've come to the conclusion that...L'OREAL new true match super blendable make-up is the one for me. It has great coverage so it almost makes my face flawless. It is truly lightweight. It doesn't feel like I have tons and tons of make-up splatter on my face. And overall, it just has the perfect touch for my face. It's not the perfect foundation yet. I will continue to wear it and see if there's any side effects. But for now, this is the right one for me.

As for the Revlon concealer, I find that this concealer does a good job of hiding your flaws. It really conceals the scars I have on my left cheek. It brightens my under eye when I use it to conceal my bags. I read a lot of reviews on it before opening the package. There were mixed reviews on it. After researching and debating, I decided to give it a try. I never know if I don't try. Also, I haven't tried the dry stick concealer before so it was a new experience for me. Overall, it's not so bad. For an $8 product that conceals pretty well, it's worth it.

Nancy: The Perfect Foundation?

Has anyone found their perfect foundation yet? Well I'm pretty picky when it comes to foundation. I want a natural, lightweight, full coverage, and good absorption foundation. Why is it do difficult to find one :( but I recently went to Target and got myself two foundation. I will try these out tomorrow and do a review on which is better. The one on the left is Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation and the right one is L'oreal new True Match super blendable make-up. If you've try one of these before, let me know which ones you think is better! :) Or better yet, let me know of the ones you've tried before and think is good. I wanna try out as many as possible until I find the perfect one!

Shia: Essie Nail Polishes-Pinks

Hello there! It's been awhile! But I'm back with a nail polish post! I was browsing Marshall's and came across Essie nail polishes! The best part about finding them there was the price, $3.99 each! They usually retail at 7-8.99, anyways they didn't have many selections but I was able to chose four pretty ones in the color family Pink. These are all shades of pink, light to dark.
Name: Petal Pink, Raise Awareness, Your Hut or Mine,Soiree Mauve.
I love Essie because it's not too milky and the consistency is pretty thick so one or two coat was enough to show it's true colors. Although the lighter color Petal Pink was very sheer and took more than two coats to show. Soiree Mauve is my favorite color and would look great for fall and winter with it's more darker and pigmented color.
Petal pink was almost as nude as my natural nail color.

Nancy: Studded Faux Leather Bracelet :D

I've been wanting a studded bracelet like this!I got this at Forever 21 for 6 bucks! Not bad at all :p This bracelet is faux leather. It also gives off an edgy/punk/grunge look. Since my style is close to that category, I LOVE this bracelet when I saw it. I'm planning to get more bracelets like this. What accessories are you going for?

Nancy: New boots!

I got these adorable boots at Target for $35! I've always wanted boots that weren't so high. I wanted the low cut boots and I finally got it! I love the buckles on the side of the boots. I gives off an edgy rocker style and shows that I have a rebellious style(which is exactly my style ;p). It goes perfect with shorts, pants, and even dresses! And it's black so it matches any color! I'm totally diggin' it!

Jeanett: OOTD

My outfit of the day ! I decided to look chic for the first day of high school :D soo, I chose to wear my floral shirt to add a girly touch to my outfit, pairing it with a pair of black jeans and my red toms. I also decided to curl my hair ! I wanted to look friendly and fashionable. Well, credits to my sister for curling my hair and taking this picture :D

Nancy: Perfume Bottle Necklace!

This necklace is the cutest little thing ever! I got this perfume bottle necklace for only $4.80 at Forever 21. It has pink lace that covers the bottle. And when you look inside you can see something magical! Ha ha! Just kidding, you see little bubbles! :) I love this necklace because it has a vintage look to it. But the lace covering gives off a modern look. The modern and vintage look gives off the perfect contrast which is what I like :) Check out this link if you're interested! :) Perfume Bottle Necklace (Google Affiliate Ad)
